Woven Roving

Woven Roving is made from continuous glass fiber roving which are interlaced into heavy weight fabrics. Or we can say that Woven Roving is a bidirectional fabric made by interweaving direct roving in plain weave pattern. It is compatible with most resin systems. With Woven Roving as a general rule estimate the resin/reinforcement ratio at 1:1 by weight. Woven Roving is available in a variety of weaves, weights, widths and finishes to suit a wide range of applications.

Densely aligned fibers results a high strength. It is ideal for multi-layer hand lay-up applications where great material strength is required. Good mold ability and drape, wet out and cost effective ability making handing easy and economic. Warp and weft rovings aligned in a parallel and flat manner resulting in uniform tension and very little twist. Excellent rollout is the uniqueness along with good wet-out in resins.

It is a high-performance reinforcement and widely used in hand and machine production, such as boats, vessels, plane and automotive parts also used for anticorrosion, corrosion resistance and insulation of pipes, storage tank in power stations, oil fields, chemical plant, paper mill and environment protection projection where highly corrosive mediums are present.
